A Message from the Editor-in-Chief

Dear Readers

We are delighted to welcome you to the launch of the Journal of Optoelectronic and Photonics (JOP). We wish to extend our gratitude to the members of the Editorial Board as they are the backbone of this scientific endeavour. We could not envisage starting this journal without the support and professionalism of scientists interested in this fascinating field of pharmaceutical and allied sciences research, and wishing to make this journal a success.

We would like to emphasize the compelling reasons for launching a new open-access journal in this ever expanding area of research, as well as our aspirations and vision for the future. We believe that it is important to have a journal which gives free access to its contents and promotes high-quality research and intellectual output of scientists who have limited access to main stream journals. We aim to bridge the gap so that authors get a wider audience for their high-quality scientific achievements. We will work in partnership with authors to ensure that their research is made freely available to the wider scientific community. We believe we will be publishing a significant number of high-quality original research article and scientific reviews from authors around the world. The Journal invites manuscripts in the broad areas of Optoelectronics and Photonics – a broad-based theme that should appeal to the largest possible audience interested in this subject. Our goal is to create a new forum for exchange of information on all aspects of this multi-disciplinary field of Optoelectronics and Photonics. We also encourage people from Optoelectronics and Photonics industry to actively participate so that together, academia and industry can uniquely partner to address unmet needs and complicated problems.

We look forward to a successful first year and welcome any comments or suggestions you may have that would improve the Journal. For more details please visit our web
